Get an early start to your America 250 celebrations with this Family Friday highlighting Revolutionary Iowans. Drop in anytime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to create some patriotic crafts including a paper plate flag and popsicle stick fireworks. At 11 a.m., visitors can register to join a guided exhibit featuring the stories of the 23 “Revolutionary Iowans” who embodied the ideals of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
The drop-in activity is recommended for younger learners and the guided tour is recommended for older learners.
Registration Details
Registration is only required for the guided Pop-in Exhibit Tour. All other activities are drop-in and self-guided.
