The Iowa Centennial Committee was organized in 1945 to commemorate and celebrate the centennial of Iowa statehood. After the Centennial, the Iowa Centennial Memorial Foundation was incorporated in 1948 by Gov. Robert D. Blue to administer the trust fund realized from the sale of the commemorative half dollar statehood coins during the centennial, for awards and scholarships. Most of the records in this group are series from the Foundation.
Some or all of these records are available to search in the Iowa History Collections Catalog.
