Event Details
Explore what life was like when Iowa first became a state in 1846. Drop-in anytime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to enjoy hands-on activities, including a themed craft and a "Pack Your Wagon" activity. Families can also register to join a guided exhibit tour at 11 a.m. to learn more about Iowa's early statehood and the people who helped shape its future. Themed scavenger hunts will also be available highlighting Iowa's early territory period.
The drop-in activities are recommended for younger learners and the guided tour is recommended for older learners.
Registration Details
Registration is only required for the guided Pop-in Exhibit Tour. All other activities are drop-in and self-guided.
