Known mainly for his iconic and endearing campus sculptures in Ames like the Fountain of the Four Seasons, Christian Petersen’s connections to Iowa actually began in the 1920s. Join Allison Sheridan, curator with University Museums, as she explores artist Christian Petersen’s mid-life move to the Midwest and his artistic career in Iowa before being employed by Iowa State College in 1935.
