You’ve been recruited to join Goldie’s Detective Agency, where the greatest museum mysteries aren’t solved with magnifying glasses alone. These mysteries are solved by curious minds. Working alongside museum staff as young learners investigate historic objects and piece together the fascinating stories behind artifacts from the State Historical Museum of Iowa’s collection.
Junior Detectives (recommended ages 8-14) and their adults will put their detective skills to the test during this 45-minute hands-on mystery-solving adventure. Each artifact will reveal surprising stories and a closer look at the people, places, and events that shaped Iowa’s history. Are you ready to become a super sleuth?
Registration Details
The History Mystery Program is free to attend. Advance registration is required. This program is recommended for young learners, ages 8-14 years old. One adult must be present for each group.
