Event Details
Prepare for a morning of spooky, family-friendly fun at the State Historical Museum of Iowa's, "Goldie's Halloween Bash". This special drop-in program takes place on Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Following the event, families are encouraged to explore America's Harvest Festival occurring that afternoon on the Iowa Capitol Complex.
Come in your favorite Halloween costume and enjoy lots of fun activities including:
Special scavenger hunt through the museum exhibits
Fun family games
Hands-on crafts
Joke station to share your favorite Beggars’ Night joke
And much more!
While everyone is welcome and registration is not required, the activities are best suited for younger learners. All children require adult supervision. Adults must be present with their children throughout the duration of the program.
