Looking for a unique experience to kick-off the weekend? Step behind the scenes for an evening at the State Historical Museum of Iowa during the museum's after-hours museum collection tour. After the museum closes to the public, guests are invited into the collection storage area for a staff guided tour to explore artifacts and objects from Iowa's past. This 60 minute tour of the museum's lower level includes a look at historic cars, a historic rooster, Civil War battle flags, Andrew Clemen's sand art masterpiece, and much more.
