The photograph shows a forklift loading huge bales of cotton, wrapped in plastic, onto a long flatbed truck near Marks, Mississippi, in 2017. Cotton is the fourth leading crop in Mississippi. After cotton is harvested, it is put into bales and transported to the factory to be turned into products such as fabric and cotton balls. Marks, Mississippi, had a population of 1,735 in 2010.
