RG 119 Iowa Centennial Committee/Iowa Centennial Memorial Foundation
The Iowa Centennial Committee was organized in 1945. After the Centennial, the Iowa Centennial Memorial Foundation was established by Gov. Robert D. Blue in 1949 to administer the funds realized from the sale of the commemorative half dollar statehood coins during the centennial, for awards and scholarships.
