RG 113 State Fair Authority

The Iowa Stair Fair began in 1854 and was managed for many years by the State Agricultural Society and later the Department of Agriculture. It was not until October 1924 that the 40th General Assembly created a separate State Fair Board. The following records series are in our holdings:
