RG 061 Board of Medical Examiners
In April 1886, the 21st General Assembly created the State Board of Medical Examiners with two primary functions: the licensing physicians and the regulating the practice of medicine. Today every person practicing medicine, osteopathy, or acupuncture is required to secure a certificate from the board.
