Description
This article from the Greenbelt Cooperator, a newspaper in Greenbelt, Maryland, and features 15 refugee children who came to the town. The children were between eight and 12 years old and they came Prussia, Vienna, Nuremberg, Frankfort and Breslau. The children were selected by the American Friends Service, Committee for Christian Refugees, Committee for Catholic Refugees and the National Refugee Service.
