Our week of conversation concludes on November 16th from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, with a discussion about the intersections of religion and politics in U.S. and Iowa history moderated by Annals of Iowa editor, Dr. Andrew Klumpp. Panelists include local university scholars:
 

  • Dr. Michael Graziano, assistant professor of religion and director of the Institute for Religion and Education at the University of Northern Iowa.  
  • Dr. Sarah Dees, assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Iowa State University who studies American and Indigenous Religions. 
  • Dr. Jeffrey Wheatley, a teacher and researcher at Iowa State University who studies religion, culture, and politics of the United States.
