Iowa History 101: An Overview of Iowa’s Counties

In honor of statehood day on December 28, State Curator Leo Landis will explore the history of some of Iowa’s counties. He will provide an overview of shifting boundaries and names, and answer why we have 99 counties but might have had 100.
