Young women have been playing basketball in Iowa for more than 125 years. What began as community games in the 1890s became a feature of Iowa life every winter as Iowa high school women competed for the state championship. Register to join State Curator Leo Landis as he gives an overview of Iowa high school girls' basketball from its origin to the end of the 6-on-6 era in 1993.
