The Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs is inviting artists, historic preservationists, filmmakers, cultural organizations, community leaders and others to attend information sessions this winter to discuss a new round of grants and opportunities.
Each session will include a one-hour presentation about arts, historic preservation and community development grants and opportunities that have application deadlines this spring. Staff will also share tips on how to strengthen applications, and attendees are welcome to bring ideas to share and discuss. Each session will be led by DCA staff from the Iowa Arts Council, the State Historical Society of Iowa and Produce Iowa-the State Office of Media Production. Admission is free but advanced registration is encouraged.

Feb. 28: Vesterheim Museum Gathering Room in Decorah, 11 a.m.
Mar. 6: Figge Art Museum in Davenport, 11 a.m.
Mar. 6: Moreau's Bäckerei in Malvern, 2 p.m.
Mar. 11: Villages Folk School in Keosauqua, 11 a.m.
